Reference Management

Use APA (preferably APA 7th) formatting. EndNote is recommended; insert citations with EndNote and update the bibliography to keep alphabetical ordering synced.

Required Manuscript Structure

Follow this order and keep each heading bold to match the journal-ready layout.

Title, Authors, Abstract

  • Bold title; line breaks permitted for clarity.
  • Author names use superscript letters for affiliations (e.g., a, b); corresponding author marked with an asterisk (*).
  • Affiliations: College/School, postal code, region; match superscripts to authors.
  • Corresponding author footnote: "* Corresponding author. E-mail: name@example.com".
  • Abstract heading bold; 200-300 words on background, methods, results, conclusions.
  • Keywords: "Keywords: term1; term2; term3; term4; term5" (3-6 terms, semicolon-separated).

Main Sections (in order)

  • 1. Introduction - background, significance, objectives, brief literature, innovations.
  • 2. Materials and Methods - experimental details, equipment, algorithms; number formulas as #(1), #(2)...
  • 3. Results - findings with figures, tables, and analysis.
  • 4. Conclusion - key outcomes, limitations, and future work.

End Matter

  • Funding: include sources and grant numbers; if none, state "This work was supported without any funding."
  • Data Availability: describe access or "If necessary, it can be provided."
  • Competing Interests: declare conflicts or "The authors declare no competing interests."
  • References: alphabetical order; APA format required.

Formatting Essentials

  • Bold all section headings and captions.
  • Use superscripts for author affiliations and reference citations.
  • Arabic numbering for sections and formulas.
  • Ensure every in-text citation appears in the reference list and vice versa.

Figures, Tables, and Formulas

Figures & Tables

  • Number as "Figure 1", "Figure 2"... with bold captions "Figure X. Caption text".
  • Insert immediately after they are cited in the text.
  • Ensure each table/figure has clear titles and descriptions.

Formulas

  • Use standard math formatting; number formulas as #(1), #(2)...
  • Example pattern: xnorm = (x - mu) / (sigma + epsilon) #(1).
  • Keep notation consistent with methods and results.

References & Tools

Apply APA style for all sources (journal articles, theses, conference papers). A generic pattern is "Author. (Year). Title. Journal Name, Volume(Issue), pages." Keep the list alphabetical and ensure every in-text citation appears in the reference list.

EndNote users: choose the APA output style, insert citations while drafting, and refresh the bibliography before submission to remove placeholders such as "ADDIN EN.REFLIST".
